Hello Friends.

Have you ever gone to the hair salon and asked for a celebrity haircut?  Fess up; of course you have.  Let's look back at some celebrity inspired hairstyles of the past.

  1. Is Victoria's the same as Kate on Kate plus 8 (minus one husband)? I saw so many people with that style last year and it was definitely not for everyone. I still want my hair to look like Farrah's though. No matter how many hot curlers I used back in the 70's, I couldn't quite master that look. Thanks for the memories!

  2. Ok, I had ALL of them except Jennifer Anniston! What does that say!! I agree with Pam, the Victoria one was not for me, lol. I would still love to have the Farrah hair:-)

  3. When I was young I asked my hairdresser for the Farah Fawcett hairdo. I had thick, black, wavy hair, but for some reason, I thought I could look like Farah...lol It never worked. I did also try Dorothy Hammill and looked like a puffy-headed little boy:)

  5. I was a Dorothy Hammill too but it didn't stay that way once I left the salon. Didn't have the body to match Farrah's..lol..

  6. Hi lovely lady.
When I was so call young my hair was like Farrah Fawcett. Now it looks more like Jenifer Anniston. I would like to thank you so much for your sweet comments on my First year Anniversary on my tablescapes. I hope you have a great week.

  8. I think the closest to any of these is Princess Di, but I don't remember requesting it that way! lol My hair is so straight, I would always get body waves, no more had enough of those. It seems to have settled into the cut I get these days, so I am not complaining too much. xo

  9. I have wavy frizzy hair and used to iron it when I was young to make it straight...lol When Farrah came along I could actually get my hair to look like hers if I set it on big juice cans... but who wanted to sleep like that for beauty the next day?

  10. Absolutely I have. The answer usually is, that's not your hair type.

I hope you will bring one of your projects or posts to my Potpourri Friday Party this week. Link-up starts on Thursday afternoon. Without a doubt, your participation will help make the party better!

  11. I tried the Farrah hairdo but since my hair was black, longer and straight I ended up with the Cher look.

  12. Hi La,
You won't believe this...I was 21 and I got my haircut on my birthday...and that week, the Winter Olympics came on...I said, "Look at Dorothy--she has my haircut!" LOL It truly had not been on t.v....and I had long hair when I cut it that length...I had that cut a long time and loved it. And later, it was cut like Farrah Fawcett....(They just called it "layered," but now I realize that's what it was like.

  13. It's too hard to fathom that Farrah and Diana are gone...I guess they were true angels who found their wings...

  15. With my baby fine hair, not one of these styles would ever have worked for me! I would be wasting my money to attempt any of these or anything else but an easy peasy blunt cut bob~ LOL Hey, ya wanna meet up with Debby and me at Country Living on Sat. the 17th?
